"The welcome was friendly, we couldn't get into the room right away, so we headed into Amsterdam with a coffee to go that the receptionist gave us. The room was neat, the mattresses and pillows were wonderful, a nice shower, and the temperature was perfect. There was construction work next to the hotel, occasionally a tram ringing its bell, but hey, you are in Amsterdam so don't complain if it isn't pin-drop quiet. Breakfast was tasty, varied, and had good coffee. Definitely recommended if you want to stay close to the station."
